Aron Elvis Honick, where exactly will you be performing? I am not going to games but weather permitting I might attend this. I know the memorial isn't right at PNC Park.

PIANO DAY FAQs: Can I play this instrument? Sure, if you would like. Opportunities may be limited so please contact us at your earliest convenience to reserve a place and time. We do not use Facebook messenger. Can I take part just for the photo opportunity? Absolutely. Locations have been chosen to feature the beauty of this piano with a backdrop of some of the city’s most iconic views and features. How much does it cost to participate? It is free to the public and nothing will be for sale. Who is sponsoring the event? Pittsburgh Steinway, the region’s exclusive provider of Steinway Concert and Artist pianos. Who is already scheduled to play? Young piano students, members of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and music majors at local universities are only some of the piano lovers who have already stepped forward. Join us. What is the official contact information? info@pittsburghsteinway.com info@pianoburgh.com ph 412-881-3067 or 412-881-3097 Why the celebration? In short, 2017 is the 150th anniversary of Steinway and Sons winning the Gold Medal at the Paris exposition in 1867 by exhibiting what we now recognize as the first modern piano. In a broader sense, playing the piano is a very wholesome activity. It builds hand to eye and hand to ear coordination, study habits, math and language skills, arts appreciation, digital dexterity, ability to memorize, encourages creativity, yields higher SAT and ACT scores, relieves stress and much more. How can we help? We are still looking for performers of all art forms to help fill out the day, photography interns, and a few strong backs.
