Class Time/Dates: 7-10 pm on Tuesdays
December 4, 11, and 18
Class size: 10 students maximum
Class length: 3 hours (9 hours total)

We aim to play characters who are robustly physically engaged in their environments. In scenes, however, we're so often reluctant to physically engage with each other! Our scene partners may play our family, friends or lovers, and yet, we rarely have time to practice getting comfortable in physical proximity and (safe, respectful) contact with one another, which can leave on-stage relationships lacking a comfort and closeness. This class will exercise the skill and practice of physical engagement. This class is for experienced improvisors who are willing to move into physical contact with others. If touching others and being touched makes you squirmy, this may not be for you. There will be touching! The class will include explicit conversations about a respectful approach to this work and one another to ensure the safety of all participants.
