Photography Workshop - Fashion and Portrait Intensive Class

This is not a typical photography workshop. Take the time to review my photography and story at www.pr-art.com. You may like my esthetics and simplicity but my style is defined by the way I capture emotions. My technique is really simple and straight forward so I can only focus on the people in front of my lens. 

That will be the fundamental of my teaching.

 
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

THE PRICE OF THE WORKSHOP IS $450. THIS FEE WILL HAVE TO BE PAY WHEN THE WORKSHOP WILL BE CONFIRMED (USUALLY 5 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT). THE REGISTER FEE OF $5 IS FULLY REFUNDABLE.

The first 3 hours will take place in a photo studio in Brooklyn to work with the Flash studio set up I like to use. That's how I do all my studio work if I have enough daylight available. We will start with portraiture and close-up. 

I will show you how to

Pose your subject for portraiture
Teach your model how to interact with you
Having your model move in sync with you
Create a shooting pace, so all the frames count.

We will talk about

Paying attention to your posing with simple tricks and actions you can give your model.
How to have your model changing emotion 
Why it is so important to direct and communicate with your model

With 2 models on set, you will be shooting most of the time, so do not forget to bring your camera.

We will also talk about composition, body language, story line, workflow and more. 

The last 3 hours will take place outdoors, around the studio area. I mainly use daylight. It is there , it is free and above all it is the best light to use.

 You will learn

How to look for open shadow and my daylight technics.
How to move fast. From close-up to full then to establishment shot.
How to look for background and composition
Camera set up with my priorities. (shutter speed, depth of field)
Why your compression is so important

We will stress again on

Model direction
Sense of rythme
Giving emotion

We will discuss about group shot. You will practice under my direction how to move, walk with your model, interact with them as you shoot. 

This workshop is limited to 7 people, with a minimum of 4 people.
