Celebrate the holidays with Arizona’s best tamale-makers! Food City will be hosting their annual two-day Tamale Festival in downtown Phoenix. Thousands will be on hand to taste and buy savory and sweet homemade tamales, as well as taste and preview new tamale flavors available at Food City grocery stores this holiday season. Families can also enjoy live mariachis, ballet folkloric dancers and vendor booths. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Free. Cesar Chavez Plaza, 200 W. Washington St., Phoenix.
