COSA Phase I Training Summer 2020

This training is for prospective and current COSA Volunteers to prepare individuals to work with COSA core members (client) in the transition from prison to the community, including those who have committed serious or violent crimes. Participants will learn the COSA program and gain awareness to behaviors and potential issues that core members face in reentry. The training will cover the following topics: building empathy, effective communication, boundaries, working with local law enforcement, coping skills, self-care.
