Welcome to The Phan Tour 2020! With the 2019 tour under their belt, Maggie and Linh are ready to bring it for 2020.

Having had over 1,000 happy students last year, we are beyond excited to bring even more to the table!

So, what can you expect to gain from coming to the Phan Tour experience? What exactly will you be getting when you invest in these classes? You’ll have the opportunity to spend time with not one, but TWO stylists and educators who specialize in completely different techniques including natural highlighting, styling, photography 101, global bleaching on Asian hair, color theory with access to exclusive formulas, education on different hair types, and cutting! Additionally, you’ll be privileged to learn from an experienced salon manager about how to create and maintain a financially successful business doing what you love!

DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES

Day 1 - Technical Demo with Linh Phan and Maggie Hancock

Maggie will be throwing down her signature balayage, showcasing a smooth transition, super bold “money-piece” with dimensional blonde throughout. She will show you her artistic and visual approach to color. Everyone’s hair is different and sometimes technical head sheets aren’t going to provide the road map for everyone. She is also going to be focusing heavily on styling. She will be demonstrating three or more of her signature looks. Along with Linh, she will be diving into photography with posing tips and tricks, choosing a style and background and most importantly, how to make your guest feel comfortable in front of the camera. After all, a photo only turns out as good as the photographer makes the model feel!

On Linh’s end, he will be showcasing his epic, one-of-a-kind global bleach out technique. This time around, Linh is going to be giving away his most coveted formulas with over 30 secret recipes that are custom made for both Caucasian and Asian hair. He’ll be diving deep into color theory and formulations in a way that appeals to the creative mind, because aren’t we all artists after all? For the very first time, Linh will also be demonstrating some of his favorite cuts!

Day 2 - Salon Business Fundamentals with Kaya Vidangos, Linh Phan, & Maggie Hancock

Business Fundamentals is a new course we are offering for 2020! We created this class out of the need to ensure our industry is equipped with the financial knowledge and understanding required to run a successful business, whether that business is run in a single-chair suite or in a salon with dozens of stylists.

You will learn how to:
- Calculate and analyze growth patterns
- Create sales projections
- Learn industry standards for budgeting
- Create budgets
- Read & analyze financial statements

We have brought on Kaya Vidangos, General Manager of Bescene Studios, for this class. Kaya has been in the beauty industry for her entire professional career and has been managing for over five years. She has a deep understanding of business with emphasis on its financials and money management as it relates to the beauty industry.

By taking this class, you will also gain access to financial tracking and budgeting documents that Kaya uses for Bescene Studios, which you will be able to immediately use to apply your new skills and knowledge back at your salon.
