Person Centered Care

This class is offered live, either in person or online via an interactive stream from your computer. 

Our interactive stream will allow you to remotely take part in the real-time presentation and discussion. If you opt to join us online through our interactive stream, we will send you an email invite link afer you register with further instructions. Reliable internet connection and a computer with a microphone is required.

Class Description

This class will explore and define the foundational concept of person centered care in the context of helping professions. The class aims to raise participants’ awareness of how power imbalances negatively impact people receiving support and services. Additionally, the course offers strategies for adopting a whole-person focus to providing support.
