Percolate: A Community Open Mic

Humans make cool stuff. As humans, we write songs and tell stories, we paint and sculpt, and we brew coffee - and we share all of it. 

When coffee percolates, coffee beans are mixed with hot water and filtered to create the ultimate taste. When ideas percolate, they're filtered through humans to bring out the best and brightest. 

Helix's Percolate Open Mic is a time for you - the microphone, the canvas, and the stage are yours. Dazzle and engage us. Whether it is a piece in progress or a polished favorite, we want to percolate with you. 
Schedule:
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Sign-up and Gallery
If you're a visual artist, bring your pieces or use our space as an open studio! For our first hour, we will have time for participants to mingle, discuss, and build community. Bring partially complete or fully complete pieces. During this time, individuals interested in performing will sign-up. 
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Performances! Come ready to share your music, poetry, lyrics, stories, comedy, and more. This is the time to present what you have.
Note: If 12+ people sign-up to perform, each person will have 5 minutes to perform. If less than 12 sign-up, each person will have 10 minutes.
