Passport to Tech Career Pathways: An Employer-Led Coaching Tour

Calling Oakland's diverse, job & internship-ready tech talent!

We're teaming up to connect you to leading employers hiring in 2017 across an array of rewarding tech pathways including: software engineering, dev ops, IT, cyber security, digital media & animation.

Participants will explore pathways of their choice via intimate, rotating coaching groups in which employees will demo current projects/products, talk about the skills they use on the job, and answer questions about how to get a foot in the company door.  A great way to meaningfully build your network and benefit from company insider advice.

One-one-one resume review sessions and connection to additional tech career readiness resources will also be available.

Program:

 6:00pm  --  Doors open, eat & refresh

 6:15pm  --  Welcome & employee coach introductions

 6:30pm --   Employee-led, small-group coaching rotations (3 rounds of 15 mins each) 

7:30pm  --   Open Networking, Resume Review
