Pass Perfection: Social Work License Exam Preparation Course

Are you about to graduate with your MSW and anxious about the next steps in your career? Have you been studying forever and do not know what else to do? OR has fear stopped you from starting to study because you are not sure where to start? Pass Perfection is the program for you!

Passing the LMSW is crucial for marketability and career advancement in the field of social work. Pass Perfection is a licensure preparation program that will equip you with the necessary tools to adequately prepare for the exam.

This course will feature content from all KSAs and is a crash course. The focus is getting you prepared through giving you steps to develop a study plan, an overview of each content area, limited practice questions covered as a group. The reason there is an overview is due to the timeframe and so that you know what concepts to study in order to maximize the amount of time you study each topic. This 5 hour course will review the following:

Course Objectives:

1. The participants will learn the KSAs (knowledge, skills, and abilities) that make up the content of the exam. Since there is an abundance of information, the following will be lightly covered: theories of development; individual practice (direct); diagnoses; community practice; group practice; professional relationships, values, and ethics; organization, administration, and research.

2. The participants will have knowledge of the steps to apply and sit for the exam.

3. The participants will complete a realistic study plan to include identifying your motivation and learning style, how to address test anxiety, and how to create an effective study plan with a sample plan.

6. The participants will demonstrate mastery over the test taking strategies through answering practice questions.

Participants will receive a study guide electronically.

The cost of this course is $99.00. There are no refunds once the registration cost has been paid. It is intended for this workshop to be in person, but there is no guarantee with the COVID-19 restrictions. If this workshop cannot happen in person, it will be virtual and a refund will NOT be issued if it has to be virtual where you will have a chance to participate in the live session as well as get the audio/video recording of the session.

The cost does not include lunch, but there will be a break for lunch from 12:00pm-12:45pm if participants would like to visit local eateries.
