Chartered on May 20, 1921 and originally incorporated on August 12, 1944, the VFW Department of Iowa has been helping veterans with all their needs. VFW State Headquarters is just minutes away off of Interstate 80 W and IA-28 S, exit 131 (Merle Hay Road). Our office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday and is closed on all federal holidays.
