We create a foundation for lifelong wellbeing by providing Blue Hens with the wellness tools to make healthy choices that contribute to a safer UD. Student Wellness & Health Promotion is an office in the Division of Student Life at the University of Delaware. We provide services to support students’ behavioral and emotional wellness, and helps students evaluate options for maintaining healthy lifestyles, through prevention, intervention, and education. We provide alcohol and substance use services and resources through: Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC), BASICS, Drug and alcohol counseling and referral to treatment, Tobacco cessation assistance and counseling, and AlcoholEdu for College. We provide victim services and resources for sexual, dating and domestic violence through: 24/7 crisis intervention and advocacy through Sexual Offense Support (S.O.S.), Crisis Counseling and Victim Advocacy, Individual Appointments for Intimate partner violence, Sexual assault, harassment, stalking and other forms of sexual misconduct, Support Groups, Prevention education and advocacy including how to give and ask for consent, Courageous Bystander skill building, and Haven for College. We provide additional services and wellness education such as: Alternative (alcohol-free) activities and events, Leadership experience through various student groups, Volunteer internship opportunities, Request educational programs, and FREE condoms (5/day).
