T.O. Fuller State Park

T.O. Fuller State Park is located along the Mississippi River in the southwest part of Memphis, TN. T.O. Fuller State Park is named in honor and commemoration of Dr. Thomas Oscar Fuller, outstanding civic leader and educator from within the African American community. T.O. Fuller State Park is the second state park in the nation to open to African Americans. Its area encompasses 1,138 acres of land with several features designed for recreation, education, and appreciation. These include but are not limited to its 4.5 mile Discovery Trail, Wildlife Enhancement Area, Olympic size swimming pool, and much more such as the T.O. Fuller Interpretive Learning Center.
