The Valerie Fund Junior Board

The Junior Board unites a younger generation of leaders around the mission and goals of The Valerie Fund. The Valerie Fund Junior Board is dedicated to spreading awareness of The Valerie Fund among communities of young professionals in New York. The group comprises dynamic, enthusiastic young professionals between the ages of 22 and 40 and meets monthly to discuss new initiatives, plan events, and engage with The Valerie Fund's leaders, staff and supporters. Junior Board members hope to serve as impassioned, informed advocates who will carry the organization into the future. The Valerie Fund is a non-profit organization providing comprehensive care to children with cancer and blood disorders in community-based hospitals across New York, New Jersey, and metro Philadelphia. More than 4,000 amazing kids pass through The Valerie Fund’s doors each year, and the organization's doctors, nurses and staff work hand in hand with kids and families to give them hope and the best possible quality of life during treatment and beyond.
