The Scrapbook Studio - A Paper Crafting Workshop

We are building a positive, encouraging and social community of women who enjoy being creative through papercrafting and mixed media art. Welcome to The Scrapbook Studio! I would like to introduce myself – my name is Michelle Owens. I am a wife, a working mom, and I love pretty paper! I have a part time “day job” so I am not at the shop every day at this point. I am planning to increase the time I spend here gradually over the summer. You are welcome to call for questions or to check that the shop is open before you stop by. The shop will be accepting cash, debit/credit cards, and Paypal (no checks please at this time). I opened The Scrapbook Studio to have the opportunity to share my love of papercrafting. I like interacting with people, learning from others, and sharing what I do. There will be classes and clubs/groups available for you to learn, be creative, share your talents, make projects, and enjoy the company of others. This is a very relaxed atmosphere (not fancy) where we can get comfortable and get to work on things together. My plans include greeting card classes, traditional scrapbook pages (cropping), mini books, off the page (3D projects), book making/ book binding, journal making, bible art journaling, stress relief through art, material technique classes, and of course crops. I am starting slowly with stocking the materials that I like and have access to. My goal is to provide opportunities for affordable crafting, while offering you dependable and inspiring materials that you won’t find at bigger crafting stores. I invite you all to come and enjoy yourself: from hesitant first timers and beginners to avid croppers, experienced crafters, and experts. I look forward to learning from you too!
