The Mad Table

Patty Ruiz, Chef/Owner of The Mad Table (TMT) offers private and semi- private interactive culinary classes, caters small events and dinner parties, and offers personal chef services.  Chef Patty’s personal philosophy is that cooking is not meant to be scary…it’s meant to be fun and exciting!!! She describes her cooking style as: “Eclectic all the way! Classy gourmet-ish, rustic, and down-to- earth!”   She will proudly tell you she is a wife, mother of two beautiful, amazing, young ladies and two handsome, sweet young men.  When she is not enjoying her family or building her business she is a well respected Consumer Science Teacher (Home Economics) at Florida Christian School. Chef Patty is addicted, obsessed, inspired and head over heels in love with food and its beauty! As a teacher,  she gets to celebrate cooking and empower all her students in the kitchen by teaching them how to have a love-affair with food and how to create life long memories!
