Sha-Hanna has over 15 years of experience in the health and wellness industry practicing a whole body, mind, and spirit approach. She is certified as a Personal Trainer and Weight Loss Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In her earlier years, she started out providing fitness and wellness opportunities for students as their Student Consultant while studying kinesiology, fitness instruction, and nutrition at Indiana University. During this time, she was accepted into the highly selective and competitive opportunity to practice as an intern at the local hospital with patients for 3 years. This experience shifted her focus toward wanting to teach people about prevention and maintaining healthy living. Early in her practice, life-changing results were experienced by helping her loved ones modify their lifestyles and decrease their health risk levels related to diabetes, high blood pressure, and more. Shortly after this success, she decided to go public and grow her clientele. She quickly ranked as a "Top 3 Personal Trainer" before deciding to go independent; this decision was influenced by client demand. Sha-Hanna began providing private health and wellness services as an independent contractor. This opened up the doors to provide nutrition advisement in addition to her exercise prescription. Along her journey as an independent professional, she has been entrusted by several companies to provide health and fitness sessions to their clientele. Through her commitment to community service, she has also served as a coach helping young women increase their self-confidence and relationships through a fun and engaging health and fitness class. Because the foundation of change begins with the mindset, Sha-Hanna has earned the Thought Patterns for High Performance certification to expand her knowledge of how humans can change their results and their life. In addition to this, she broadened her understanding and skill-set related to problem solving - specifically aimed to help people get from point A to point B with a Simplex Problem Solving Certification. As a result of this unique set of experiences, she was empowered and equipped to make her own personal transition to a vegan lifestyle - even after past failed attempts. Her vegan life has been joyfully maintained and continues to flourish. After being regularly approached by her family, students, colleagues, and friends for tips, information, and advice on how to be vegan, she decided to transform her experiences, research, and growing knowledge base into a course for others. As a certified online instructor, experienced in making an impact through teaching students, designing a course combined with her passion for veganism was destined! Sha-Hanna has created a unique methodology to help ease the way for others taking the steps to become vegan. Most recently, she has been accepted to Main Street Vegan Academy in New York where she continues to study veganism.
