A New Jersey-based company that offers senior citizens tutoring services in a wide variety of fields related to the use of new technology We lead one-on-one and group workshops at senior centers, community centers, and assisted care facilities in central and northern New Jersey, with introductory and hands-on workshops on computers, apps and the internet; focusing on where it came from, what it is, how it works, how to use it. The workshop takes about an hour. Seniors don’t need to necessarily have used computers or even computer experience to attend. They may just be curious to know what it is all about. Seniors Tech Academy, founded in 2015, coaches senior citizens interested in learning computer technologies, things like email and Facebook, etc. We recognize that some seniors have other priorities other than to learn new technology, such as just understanding how to use computer laptops or smart phones, or just using email to reach family and friends; in which case we just provide services for what they need, whenever they need it. We lead workshops at senior centers, community centers, and assisted care facilities in central and northern New Jersey, with introductory and hands-on workshops on social media; where it came from, what it is, how it works, how to use it. Technology is changing at an extremely fast pace. We work is to clearly explain what new technology, new apps, and new devices that will help save time and money, but in easy, understandable lessons. And we love to just be with them in the excitement and curiosity of new ways of communicating.
