SAGE/Rhode Island

Services and Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Elders. SAGE-RI is an all volunteer organization. SAGE-RI is a registered 501(c)3 SAGE organizations have existed in the US since1978. Originally, the acronym stood for Senior Action in a Gay Environment but more recently was adapted to mean Services and Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Elders. In 2005, SAGE/USA was the first official LGBT delegate to the White House Conference on Aging. SAGE/RI is pleased to be an affiliate of SAGE/USA.
