My name is Amy E. Miller, CPM and I am a certified professional midwife, doula, childbirth educator and placenta encapsulator in Hagerstown, MD. As a doula, childbirth educator and student midwife, I am committed to educating my community about the beauty of natural, unmedicated birth. I believe that childbirth is beautiful and that it should be fulfilling, empowering and gentle. I believe that childbearing women should be supported by other women in a loving and nurturing environment. I offer bi monthly childbirth preparation workshops where we discuss the mystery of birth and parenthood; answer questions regarding pregnancy, labor, birth and breastfeeding; and inspire each other to anticipate a lovely, life changing birth experience.
