Our mission is to promote lifelong wellbeing with interactive experiences that teach fun and easy ways to make healthy choices.
The Promoters of Wellness peer educators are a group of students who volunteer through Student Wellness and Health Promotion. POW peer educators present classroom programs, facilitate interactive kiosks, and partner with other groups for large-scale campus events. Our education topics include all areas of wellness such as safer sex, substance use, positive body image, and stress management.
Why should I be a part of it?
POW is a great opportunity for students to make a difference on campus, connect with other wellness-minded students, and develop professional skills. Our peer education program is an excellent platform for students to take their ideas and translate them into action on campus!
