Pensacola Habitat is a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to building affordable housing in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties using volunteer labor and donated land, materials, and funds. Pensacola Habitat's program enables qualified home buyers to purchase a quality home at cost and at 0% interest. Toward the journey of homeownership, our mission is to give people a hand-up, not a handout. Home buyers will help to build their own home and will attend classes teaching the essentials of home ownership. Not only that, but based on what they can afford, applicants can choose their lot location, house plan, and even the amenities in the home. By attending an orientation, interested individuals and families have an opportunity to get an overview of the program and its requirements and to have your questions answered by a Habitat representative.
