We are the only nonprofit organization in NYC dedicated to empowering immigrant women from all backgrounds - Help us make a difference!
New Women New Yorkers (NWNY) was established in 2014 as the 1st nonprofit organization in New York City offering programs geared to the needs of young immigrant women from all national origins, and providing them with a support network. It obtained 501(c)(3) status in October 2014, and launched its first flagship project, LEAD, in February 2015.

Since then, NWNY has conducted 12 series of the LEAD workforce development program, in partnership with The New York Public Library and other host organizations, and has held several events to offer additional learning and networking opportunities to young women immigrants, and to provide them with a platform to share their stories and express their voice.
