The M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence is a nonprofit that works to realize Mahatma Gandhi's vision of a just and peaceful world through his teachings of nonviolence and unconditional love for others.
The Institute was founded by Arun and Sunanda Gandhi at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee in 1991.

In 2007, the Gandhi Institute moved to the Interfaith Chapel at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.

In 2012, the Gandhi Institute moved to it's current home on 929 Plymouth Avenue South in the Plymouth-Exchange (PLEX) neighborhood of Rochester, New York.
