Mission Be

Mission Be brings mindfulness to schools and communities. We teach children essential skills, such as how to pay attention and focus. Our teachings, include an innovative approach which allows children to practice the tools of mindfulness with the firm belief that the teaching of Mission Be will: Decrease school violence and bullying. -Build resilience to trauma and coping skills for stress. -Improve focus, concentration, and academic success. -Increase decision making and decrease impulsive behavior. -Increase self-esteem, the cultivation of a calm mood. -Help students develop empathy and compassion for others. -Build a sense of community and positively impact the school climate. At Mission Be we believe that mindful, kindness and compassion have the power to transform our children and our schools, therefore changing the world in a healing and positive way.
