Voted "Best Community Organization 2012" by the Review Journal-- LSSN supports Las Vegas Valley families with vital services and programs. • DigiMart is a digital client-choice, supermarket-style food pantry. Clients are assigned user names and passwords to log into the food database on desktop kiosks at LSSN or from any computer with Internet access. The monitor displays pictures of food items available, and a click of the mouse puts a client’s food item into his or her digital cart. Once the order is complete, a receipt is sent to a computer in the pantry, staff and volunteers bag or box the food and have it ready for the client to pick up. DigiMart Hours: Monday - Thursday, opens at 10 am, the first 40 households. Please do not form a line before 9:45 am. • Rapid Rehousing Assistance to homeless individuals and families who are referred through the Coordinated Entry System. Homeless Prevention Services through rental and utility assistance for low-income individuals living at/or below the poverty line. • LSSN is an Assessment Site for the Coordinated Entry System. •The Identification Recovery Program provides assistance with obtaining birth certificates and state identification documents necessary for obtaining employment in Nevada, services and housing. •The Heart of the City Senior Meal Program provides nutritious and hot meals at two locations, Monday - Friday. Holy Spirit Lutheran Church from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM and Reformation Lutheran Church from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm. • Senior Supportive Services provides food delivery, case management, assistance with incontinence supplies, nutritional supplements, and other services to home bound seniors aged 62 and older. • Application assistance with SNAP, Medicaid, Nevada Check-up, and Energy Assistance. • The Nutrition Education Kitchen empowers DigiMart shoppers with cooking demonstrations that showcase healthy recipes using food from the food pantry. • Volunteer and Community Service opportunities.
