Earl Luna Elementary PTA. Garland, TX Welcome to the 2017/2018 school year at Luna Elementary! We are so thrilled you are here with us! We invite you to become an active part of the Luna Community by joining the Luna PTA. PTA is a grassroots association made up of parents, teachers and others around the state who have an interest in children, families and schools. PTA membership is as diverse as Texas is in cultures, education levels and parenting skills. By joining the PTA, a member becomes part of the largest child advocacy association in the state with more than 500,000 members across Texas. At Luna the PTA works with the faculty and staff to make sure that all students enjoyed a positive and productive learning environment. PTA sponsored many activities throughout the year for the Luna community. These include book fair, holiday parties, talent show, family fun night, and 5th grade graduation reception. We also provide funds for teachers to purchase enrichment supplies, additional technology for classrooms, snacks during STAAR testing, and various needs during the year.
