Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House (LARMH) is home to thousands of families a year whose children are receiving care at local hospitals. We welcome your comments, suggestions and questions about our House. As you can see, we have a vast community of inspiring people supporting the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House with wonderful stories to share. Our facility houses up to 75 families each night, 365 days a year. Due to a limited number of rooms and the increasing need for our services, priority is given to families of children diagnosed with cancer. Families of children with other serious illnesses will be admitted as space permits. The House is in close proximity to Children's Hospital, Kaiser Permanente and Shriners Hospital, and the majority of our families are served at one these partner hospitals. We also accept families from surrounding hospitals such as UCLA and Cedars-Sinai. Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House strives to be your home away from home. Our two buildings (located next door to each other) each have a laundry room, computer room, communal kitchen, outdoor barbecue grills, outdoor and indoor play areas for children and visiting areas. We even have a fully-equipped exercise room available for parents to use during their stay. There is secure complimentary parking, and local hospitals offer free shuttle service to and from the hospital to the House.
