Local Food Adventures (www.localfoodadventures.com) is a locally-owned guided cultural food tour company that celebrates the history, present-day excitement and food culture of Oakland. Started in 2014 as the Rockridge Food Tour, Local Food Adventures now offers four unique food tours including a three-hour Rockridge Neighborhood Heritage Tour, one-hour Ice Cream & Gelato Tour and two-hour Grand Lake Cultural Cuisine Tour and Eat Stay Love Lafayette Food Tours. Local Food Adventures is owned by a East Bay working mom who believes in supporting local businesses and the community. Local Food Adventures donates a portion of every ticket sold to the Alameda County Community Food Bank, Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano and supports other non-profit organizations through a fundraising partnership program.
