Since 2012, she conducts Passport to Retirement: semi-annual retirement education courses at different community colleges across the Denver metro area. These peer-education classes teach over six hours of material covering 85 different topics. As part of this financial awareness goal, Jody co-founded Women & Wealth with her twin sister, Jenn. Women & Wealth is a women’s quarterly networking event that aims to educate and empower women to plan for their financial independence. Jody graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a Bachelor degree in Finance. She is a General Securities Representative (Series 7), an Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Principal (Series 26), and a Uniform Securities Agent (series 63 and series 66). She also has an insurance license for the state of Colorado. She is also a Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS). Jody graduated from this holistic comprehensive educational program which uses a blended learning approach and capstone project to better serve her high net-worth clients and understand complex client issues. As an active member of her church and other charitable organizations in the Denver metro area, Jody is very passionate about serving her community. She is married with a young son named Charlie.
