Back to Easton after over twenty five years, daughter of Karl Stirner, Heather Stirner Nutting returns to the Easton Arts building where she formerly owned and operated The Easton Academy of Dance. Heather and her husband, Mark Nutting, first met in NYC at the Pumping Iron gym after Heather had returned to the States after living in Paris dancing professionally. Having suffered a broken back, Heather learned so much from her rehabilitation process and how fitness training was essential. Coincidentally, Mark, was a fitness trainer with a degree in exercise science who came to NYC to pursue a love of theatre and dance. Mark became Heather' s husband and fitness mentor. Together they ran the in-house personal trainer school for Town Sports International - New York Sports Clubs, Boston Sports Clubs, Washington sports Clubs and Philadelphia Sports Clubs. Both are sought after national fitness presenters. Mark is the Personal Fitness Professional's 2016 Trainer of the Year and the National Strength and Conditioning Association's 2009 Personal Trainer of the Year. Having been in health club management for larger clubs, they have decided to create a fitness solution that focuses on human connection and nurturing support, while still delivering the most current and effective programs. People know they should exercise, they know they should eat better, but where should they start? Jiva Fitness will be here to help guide the way._____________________________________ We've had some inquiries about our hours. We are not an open facility where you can come in and work out on your own. Our mission is to give the guidance, support, and instruction that people need in order to reach their health and fitness goals. That is best achieved when you are always in a fully supervised situation, either in class or one on one with a personal trainer. Our classes are 8:30am Mon-Sat, and 5:30pm Mon-Fri.
