The Irving Symphony Orchestra was founded 1962 by Father George Ferenczy. The ISO is proudly celebrating our 56th Anniversary!! A few of the ISO's unique performances include a joint concert with the Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra in Wimbledon, England during a cultural exchange program. It was the orchestra's first international performance. The ISO has performed at the internationally known Morton Myerson Symphony Hall in Dallas, Texas. Annually the ISO has proudly performed live concerts to a total of 130,000 students from the Irving Independent School District. For 28 consecutive years, the ISO has performed the Fourth of July Patriotic Concert for the enjoyment of all the residents of Irving and surrounding communities. The Irving Symphony Orchestra is celebrating their 55th season in 2017 - A Musical Journey of Beauty and Passion! The ISO is under the musical and artistic direction of Maestro Hector Guzman who, in 2017, is celebrating his 25th anniversary in this distinguished position.
