Half a day-long agenda includes multiple topics, presented by guest speakers, representing many perspectives. Community appeals to a broad audience representing its membership, which cuts across various industries. They have covered topics such as EDI, Supply Chain, Managed File Transfer, XML, portals, and EDI over the Internet. We will include both EDI / MFT on perpetual software model and SaaS model.The mission of the this User Group is: To provide a grassroots advocacy open to anyone with interest in improving Electronic Business for end users, and precisely through the use of Sterling Integrator. To provide an Internet-based set of resources for people involved in Sterling Integrator, including research and advancement of the technology, through to support for end users in their endeavors to benefit from Watson Supply Chain. To promote and develop a set of Guidelines that derive the maximum benefits from the amalgam of Sterling Integrator EDI, and to promote the adoption of these Guidelines within the traditional standards bodies for Electronic Business and with commercial software developers. To provide, through focus groups, the broad adoption, and support of Sterling Integrator throughout the business world, and to liaise with appropriate industry bodies to facilitate their use of Sterling Integrator. To foster and promote projects and products that implement such Guidelines and to organize research and pilot projects to demonstrate practical business implementations. To foster the development of public domain tools and open systems software whenever possible. To provide a conduit for the dissemination of information on Sterling Integrator (GIS) to the press and media, and also to facilitate talks, lectures, seminars, and workshops on Sterling Integrator EDI / XML / B2B Integration by providing access to qualified speakers, presenters, and materials.
