Heartland Scuba Center, founded in Kearney, NE in January 1983, is Mid-Nebraska´s leading authority on scuba diving and equipment. Stop by for a free consultation on classes and equipment. We are a SDI/TDI 5 Star Professional Development Center. To qualify as a 5 Star Professional Development Center, we have to meet SDI/TDI's requirements in these areas; •At least Two Active SDI, TDI or ERDI Instructor Trainers on staff •Conduct at Least Two SDI Instructor Development Courses and Instructor Examination Courses Each Year •Have Access to a Classroom for Training •Have Access to Confined Water for Training •Store Front/Display Area with Established Hours •Offer Factory Authorized Service for Major Lines Sold •Offer Rental Equipment Including Dive Computers •Have a Breathing Air Compressor/Filtration System We have been teaching scuba since 1973 and have dedicated ourselves to providing the best instruction, equipment, and service available anywhere, not just here in Nebraska.
