Friends of Wilmington Parks

The Friends of Wilmington Parks is dedicated to supporting events and projects within the Wilmington State Parks. Currently we: 1) Have an active Native Habitat Restoration Volunteer Team 2) Maintain the Jasper Crane Rose Garden in the Brandywine Park 3) Organize and promote music/cultural events in Alapocas Run State Park, Brandywine and Rockford Parks. Friends of Wilmington Parks is a non-profit community organization founded in 1991. We are actively involved with the Delaware Division of Parks & Recreation and The City of Wilmington in the preservation and maintenance of the Wilmington State Parks, sponsoring Environmental/STEM Education for Title 1 students, and organizing cultural events in Alapocas Run, Brandywine and Rockford Parks. We are an active 501(c)(3) organization with 16 board members and professional staff.
