Engaging the audience with familiar favorites and treasured classics that are hard not to sing along to, Exit Left is a five piece rock cover band working together to bring you the absolute best in entertainment! We have an alternating song list and play 100% LIVE music ranging from Classic, Modern, Synth Pop to Alternative Rock hits. Rob Fires, our lead singer is a dynamic and highly charismatic vocalist with several years of experience. He is originally from Miami, and is of Cuban descent. Rob has sung for a few South Florida rock cover bands and currently plays with another local rock cover band in Miami. Drew Ramirez, our lead guitarist, vocalist/backing vocals AND manager has been playing the guitar since the age of 15. He is originally from Queens, NY and is of Colombian descent. Drew has played with a few South Florida rock cover bands and also played with a local rock cover band in Canada. He brings musical depth to the sound of Exit Left and believes that music is a lifelong relationship and that all musicians can learn from each other. His unique guitar virtuoso style stems from several of his musical influences such as Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Edge, and David Gilmour, just to name a few. Susie Ramirez, our keyboardist, vocalist/backing vocals started to study classical music and playing piano at the age of 5. She also studied Solfege, Music Theory and Pedagogy. Susie was born and raised in Miami and is of Spaniard/Cuban descent. After a lengthy hiatus from the piano, she started to fiddle around with the keys again while accompanying her husband, Drew on nights while he would practice guitar. Susie's musical influences range from classical pianists such as Chopin, Lecuona, Rachmaninoff, Mozart and Bach to rock keyboardists like Jordan Rudess, Jonathan Cain, Jens Johansson, John Paul Jones and Freddie Mercury. Bill Gato, our drummer is a Miami-based rock, pop and Afro-Latin fusion drummer. Bill was born and raised in Miami and is of Cuban descent. He began drumming at the age of 12 by practicing on encyclopedias. He is also a music instructor at Miami Dade College’s Music Learning Center. He teaches the Rock Band for Teens class and several private students of various ages. During high school, Bill formed his first original rock band, The Set, which released an eight-song LP of original songs when he was 17. Bill is an experienced musician with over 20 years of experience and has played drums for several South Florida rock bands.
