Eugenio María de Hostos Charter School - Rochester, NY

The Eugenio María de Hostos Charter School is a successful public school located in the 14621 neighborhood in the city of Rochester, New York. The Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School offers students a dual language model in grades K – 2. Students alternate between English and Spanish for Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. In grades 3 – 8 students continue to study the Spanish language and receive their content classes in English. The school plans to add grades 9 - 12 in the fall of 2016. It operates it's program from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm in order to accommodate breakfast, the core subject schedule, a tutoring block and special subjects such as art, music, and dance. A sports program is also available.Our school has demonstrated that with good instruction and student support services all students can succeed.
