Mission Our mission in producing the Carson,Tahoe, Reno (CTR) Rockabilly Riot is to produce the very best event here on the West Coast for all to come & enjoy, see old friends and meet new ones. The CTR Rockabilly Riot is all about the cars, the music, the Pin-ups, Dancing, Dressing up, fixing your hair, and living the Rockabilly Lifestyle. Company Overview The Reno Rockabilly Riot (now the CTR Rockabilly Riot) was originally designed & created by Paul Sampson in 2010. Being an avid lover of all kinds of things with motors in them, from trucks, classic cars, race cars, motorcycles & all types of racing, Paul decided he wanted to do a car show festival. He wanted the show to be different; not the typical type of car show seen here on the West Coast where people just park their cars and stand around all day. It was Paul's son Tommy who, being an avid lover of Rockabilly Shows, suggested the Rockabilly theme. From there, Paul implemented some of the car events that he had designed, along with adding Drag Racing & Burn-outs. Being in the entertainment industry for almost 30 years doing Concerts,Festivals,Races and doing Car shows for some of the biggest car show promoters in the US, it was a given that Paul would add portions of all these things to the event now known as CTR Rockabilly Riot.
