The CDA New Dentist Council Facebook page was established to foster a network of new dentists and promote discussion. Message Posting: Content posted should promote positive discussion. Negative or offensive posts are absolutely NOT permitted under any circumstance. Posts should be respectful of others and mirror conduct acceptable in the workplace and elsewhere. If the posting contains profanity or degrading remarks, the post will be deleted immediately. Likewise, content will be immediately deleted if it disparages a specific person, company, organization or insurance carrier. Any posts that carry potential anti-trust violations will also be deleted. Posts by non-CDA administrators that contain advertising for another organization/company will be deleted. Photo/Video Posting: Photo and video content should be professionally appropriate and related to the dental community. Event Posting: Events that are posted should be directly related to the CDA or dental profession. If a fan of the page posts information about an upcoming event, the content will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Event postings that are un-related or self-promoting may be removed. The New Dentist Committe (now Council) was reinvigorated in 2010 by a core group of individuals that wanted to help dentists that have been in practice for 10 years or less. We put on several events a year for new dentists. Events have included discussion of mid-level dentist providers, speed dating that paired up new dentists w/ seasoned dentists looking to sell practices or hire partners, and networking.
