Chowchilla FFA

We are the largest student organization at Chowchilla Union High School. Agriculture at Chowchilla Union High School started in 1921 with Mr. J.A. Cocanauer as its first agriculture instructor. By 1925 the Agriculture Department was founded with two full-time Agriculture Instructors. On January 15, 1930, Chowchilla FFA became the 72nd incorporated chapter of the California Association of Future Farmers of America. The following names were the original 14 members which comprised the Chowchilla FFA Chapter: Theron Cook President J.C.
