CHISPAS is a student organization at the University of Florida. Our mission is to address the pressing needs and issues of the immigrant community through education and awareness. CHISPAS believes in an engaged student body that promotes equal rights, fair treatment, and the empowerment of the immigrant community through advocacy and service. English as a Second Language (ESL) education is one of the primary targets of our organization, motivating interested and affected people to integrate into the greater community. Cultural activities, open to the public, provide off and on campus awareness about immigration issues and concerns. If you are interested in immigration or social justice we are the organization for you! It only takes a second to join and you will earn a lifetime of rewards!
