CLC - ONE What is included with a mission? *8 hours of teacher in-service training *Pre and post classroom materials specially designed to prepare students for each mission *2 to 3 hour student mission for the whole class *Missions can be combined with in-house planetarium programming or visits to other historical or cultural venues. Each CLC offers complex and highly realistic missions that are designed by professional educators with the guidance of NASA scientists. Educational: *Unique facility for the WNY area *Take SMT education beyond "teach to the test" - 6 weeks in the classroom looking at current curriculum in a new and more effective way. The high interest in robotics and other after school activities can be extended through the center *Improve standardized test scores across all achievement levels *Interest students in technology related careers *Improve the scientific literacy of our general population
