As a body of confessional Lutheran Christians committed to serving our community on behalf of Christ's name, BLH School strives to incorporate the principles of nurturing, disciple making, and outreach with all of its students. BLS began in 1952 and offers a complete academic curriculum for Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade with extensive extra-curricular activities in a Christian atmosphere. In 2002, we opened a second location, Living Hope Lutheran School, to serve the Prior Lake, Savage, and Shakopee areas. Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade is offered here. Christian education has always been important for our church members. In our school, we use an efficient means of meeting Christ’s command of “Feed My Lambs” (John 21:15) and assisting parents in the spiritual nurturing of their children. It is our earnest desire to develop a working relationship with our students and their parents in order to offer sound, well-rounded Christian education here at school and extended into the home.
