ASTEC Charter Schools

ASTEC is an educator-led, tuition-free, public school of choice serving the children of Oklahoma City. "Dream and Believe; Learn and Achieve!" ASTEC has created a community environment for its student scholars and families. All students are required to take 9-weeks of Character Education, Manners and Etiquette. We have a culture of high expectations and a respect for diversity. We provide for the needs of our families through our clothing closet, our food pantry and for family and student counseling. The culture of the school has created a place where students feel safe and cared for. The consistent positive behaviors of our student scholars is a testament to the success of the model we have created. Students are accepted on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Existing students and their siblings are given enrollment priority. ASTEC has a high retention rate among our students, making most openings in the 6th grade.
