Arizona Society of Homebrewers

Promoting the time-honored tradition of homebrewing through information, education, and practice since 1995. We're often asked what the benefits of membership are. First and foremost it give you access to the combined wisdom of hundreds of brewers in your area. We meet on the third Tuesday of most months and during that meeting it's possible for you to solicit the opinions of BJCP certified judges, a few of which are Nationally recognized. Additionally it's not uncommon for there to be up to 70 different beers to sample and exchange tasting notes. We also feature premier events such as Spring Fest and Oktoberfest as well as our Holiday party. Each of these events feature free food and beer. You'd easily pay $75-$150 for that type of VIP treatment at any beer festival in the country. It's yours for your $30 annual fee. Your dues go toward securing a meeting place for a few hundred of your best brewing pals to get together and talk beer. It goes toward a General Liability Policy, our website, our interactive email. It pays for our membership in the Arizona Craft Brewer's Guild and the many resources it offers. If you've been a member for any length of time, you know that it's more than just the sum of all of this (and the discounts). It's a feeling of being part of an Army of brewers and beer appreciators that have a real influence on beer culture in the Phoenix Metro Area. It's about the mission: To preserve and promote the time-honored tradition of homebrewing, and to recognize it as a true art form through information, education, and dedicated practice.
