Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce

The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce exists to advance the Anderson area as a community where people can live, work and prosper. The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to support and promote businesses and organizations in the Anderson Area. Since 1970, the Chamber has been a great way to market your business and organization to the Anderson Area in eastern Hamilton County, serving Anderson Township, Newtown, Mt. Washington and western Clermont County, Ohio. The Anderson Area is 20 minutes from downtown Cincinnati and is bordered by the Ohio River to the south, the Little Miami River to the west and north and Clermont County to the east. The Chamber partners with Anderson Township, the Forest Hills School District and the Anderson Park District and the Hamilton County Park District for business and community related activities. The Neighborhood Business District program sponsored and produced by the Chamber also involves partnering with the Anderson Township, Anderson Township Fire & Rescue, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Village of Newtown, Newtown Police Department, Little Miami Fire & Rescue, City of Cincinnati (for Mt. Washington), Cincinnati Fire Department and the Cincinnati Police. Future programs will include partnering with departments of Union and Pierce Townships in Clermont County. The Chamber produces the annual Citizen of the Year Awards Banquet, a Golf Outing, Party on the Plaza, Anderson Area Pizza Showcase,Thanksgiving Breakfast and Holiday Cheers. The Chamber also partners with the Anderson Park District, Anderson Township Government and Post 318 Legion Hall for the large community event of Greater Anderson Days. Another program sponsored and produced by the Chamber is the Professional Development Series; a series of educational seminars including Lunch N’ Learn, Employment Law Issues Roundtable and Marketing Roundtable, as well as a yearly Business Seminar for new businesses which also serves as an updated informational session for existing businesses and organizations. The Chamber supports the Partners in Education program of the Forest Hills School District as well as underwrites scholarships for each local high school. Community activities are promoted through our website and weekly emails with information supplied by the organization. The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce also provides the community with the Welcome to the Anderson Area community resource magazine, the Anderson Area map, and the “Buy-It-In-Anderson” Coupon Book.
