Join Hazel Keelan in this 5 week seminar series looking at how a wide variety of artists and art movements have been inspired and kept working in times of difficulty, personal conflict and isolation. Each week we will examine different artists or movements, with a visual introduction, discussion and chance to share on personal parallels. We will look at Outsiders Art, Naive and Folk Art, Matisse, Picasso, Pollock and more.
Class is still open for enrollment, late registrants have access to videos recorded from previous class meetings.

About Hazel Keelan
Hazel studied at Chelsea and Reading art schools and worked as a visual and community artist and in arts administration in the UK before coming to the US in 2007. Hazel is also a lifelong musician and teaches violin and piano in the community. Her joy in life is finding personal expression and fulfillment through creativity; this new class will be designed to help all who join in becoming newly inspired for themselves.
