Connect your sacred heart to the heart of the earth.

Using the tools of mindfulness and yoga we will reconnect with the natural world both within and without. Learning to identify forest plants brings us into deeper relationship with place. With gratitude we receive the benefits of the time spent in nature and are nourished.

The retreat begins with a plant identification and a discussion of edibility and medicinal value of the plants we will see as we walk through the forest. Next we practice yoga beneath the trees in a beautiful field. Afterwards, we break for lunch, then we continue the day with the biology of breath and how it connects us to the natural world. We finish the afternoon with a guided meditation and a mindful walk back to the parking lot.

Bring your own lunch, yoga mat and blanket.

Namaste!
