Ottawa County LEPC Conference "Community Response to a Chemical Release"

This year our annual conference will feature a tabletop excercise scenario of a chemical release in a residential neighborhood affecting one or more Long Term Care facilities.  

This tabletop exercise will walk through a simulated chemical release incident with injects from subject matter experts detailing what their agencies role in the response would be, what resources are available and how your facility should respond to an incident. You will be able to view an incident from multiple perspectives including:

Þ  Fire/HazMat Response

Þ  Law Enforcement Response

Þ  Emergency Operations Center

Þ  Dispatch

Þ  EMS Response

This tabletop meets CMS guidelines for an annual exercise.
