Oswego Harborfest 2017

Oswego, NY's Harborfest is one of the largest free-admission music festivals in the Northeast, and celebrates 30 years of fun this year! It takes place on the last full weekend in July, which this year falls on Thursday, the 27th- Sunday, the 30th.  Attracting over 100,000 visitors to the Port City on an annual basis with over 50 acts, including nationally and regionally recognized musicians, food, games, rides, and more. 

Funk Legends The Family Stone will take the NRG Lakeview Stage in Breitbeck on Thursday, July 27 at 9 p.m. Rock Supergroup Night Ranger will play on Friday night at 10 p.m. The Gruccis, the "First Family of Fireworks" will put on a breathtaking fireworks display on Saturday, July 29th, at 9:30 p.m. There are music and events spread out across all festival venues, including Jazz & Blues music in East Park, artisan craft vendors in River Walk East, a renowned water ski show in River Walk East, and the world's only railroad carnival, Strates Shows (previously of the New York State Fair), will provide a Midway Carnival chock full of rides, games, and fun attractions. 

There's so much to see and do for all ages! The Novelis Family Park, another festival venue, provides kid-friendly acts and entertainment all weekend long, including Harborfest's own Children's Musical (Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year), magicians, robotics, horse rides, puppet shows, and so much more. 

There really is something to do for everyone, and the spirit of summer, of family and of community runs through the festival.
